Separate production approval from international shipping
Artwork and sample
Approve the bag dimensions, material, colour and print layout before a production run. Detailed logos or new structures may need a physical sample rather than only an on-screen mock-up.
Production and packing
Confirm quantity, inspection criteria and carton packing. Carton dimensions and total shipping weight are needed for a realistic freight comparison; a product photograph is not enough to calculate delivery costs.
Freight and import costs
Agree the shipment method and delivery terms in the quotation. State who handles customs clearance, duties and taxes. Ask whether quoted timing is production time, dispatch time or arrival time; these are different milestones.
